Engage Your World Locally

“Go home to your friends, and tell them what wonderful things the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been.” (Mark 5:19 NIV)

When we encourage people to engage their world intentionally we know that world begins in our own community, the places we work, play and live. We also know it’s not going to happen by accident. We have to intentionally or purposefully look for opportunities to develop relationships with people who are not Christians.

One of the best ways to develop those relationships is by showing the love of Christ not just with our words but also with our actions. That’s why we provide opportunities for you to engage locally.

Contact the church office at (704) 822-1933 ext. 205 to learn more about these opportunities.

Prison Ministry

Join us in serving the prisoners and staff at the Lincoln County Correctional Center. We regularly hold a worship service for the inmates and need people to go with us. We also do cookouts and games for the inmates and staff at different times throughout the year. Requires lots of willing hands!

Nursing Home Ministry

Do you have the gifts of compassion or mercy? Join us in ministering to those who have physical and mental challenges at a local nursing home. We need people to simply mingle and talk to residents, lead a Bible study or lead worship for the residents once a month. Register today to help!

Ramp Building Ministry

For many people with physical limitations having a few stairs at their door keeps them prisoner in their homes. Building a simple ramp can give them freedom to live and care for themselves. Skilled and unskilled laborers are needed.  Also need persons to visit with residents while ramp is being built.
