In part four of Unsearchable Riches, Paul’s response to God’s kindness to Jews and Gentiles is to bow down on his knees and pray. He prays for the church and through his prayer we are able to gain insight into what our response to God’s unfathomable riches should be. In Christ, we are no longer defined by our differences that would normally divide, but we are now defined by Christ.

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and earth derives its name…
Ephesians 3:14-15 NASB

“I Bow My Knees”

Q: (How do I pray)?

“From one man He made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for and find Him, though He is not far from any one of us.”
Acts 17:26-27 NIV

In Christ there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all.
Colossians 3:11 HCS

The Key: “(In Christ)”

The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
