(A Change in My Heart)

Heart: (The center of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual life)

“…for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21 NASB

“This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me. But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.” Matthew 15:8-9 NASB

“But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders. These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the man.” Matthew 15:18-20 NASB

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV

(Peter)—(Humility)
But Peter said to Him, “Even though all may fall away because of You, I will never fall away.” Matthew 26:33 NASB

(Thomas)—(Trust)
“Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” John 20:25b NASB

(James)—(Priorities)
“Grant that we may sit, one on your right and one on your left, in Your glory.” Mark 10:37 NASB

(John)—(Love)
So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. John 20:8 NASB

(Felix)
But some days later Felix arrived with Drusilla, his wife who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul and heard him speak about faith in Christ Jesus. But as he was discussing righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix became frightened and said, “Go away for the present, and when I find time I will summon you.” Acts 24:24-25 NASB
