Small Group Meeting

Small Groups have always been a vital part of spiritual growth here at Real Life. Connecting with a small group is a healthy indicator for growth and engagement in your walk with Jesus. We’ve worked hard to organize our groups to fit the needs of our community and encourage next steps in each participant. Here’s the description of how “Group Life” will work at Real Life Church.

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.”   Acts 2:42 (NLT2)

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation…”   1 Peter 2:2 (NIV)

Group Life

That’s what Group Life is all about:  gathering and growing.  Just as a newborn baby is expected to grow up, God expects us as believers to grow and mature as well. Physical growth requires good nourishment and a loving family and spiritual growth is no different.

We are most likely to grow spiritually when we consistently engage God’s Word (nourishment) with God’s people (loving family). The best way to grow at Real Life is to get connected to Group Life.

There’s a Group That Fits You!

We have three different types of discipleship groups so you can find one that fits your need and next step:

Life Connection Groups (LCG)—meets year-round with focus on connecting and growing; studies vary from group to group

Life Study Groups (LSG)—short term study meets 6-10 weeks with focus on a specific topic like Financial Peace University; How to Have a Daily Time Alone with God; Bible book study, etc.

Life Disciple Groups (LDG)—short term study that meets 4-6 months with focus on being discipled and discipling others

Some groups will meet weekly in-person following CDC guidelines, some will meet online only via Zoom, etc. and some will follow a hybrid approach meeting online weekly and once a month gathering in person.
