He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:3 NKJV

Peace is found…

1). (When burdens are lifted)

All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way. Isaiah 53:6a NASB

There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. Proverbs 16:25 NASB

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Psalm 51:12 NKJV

2). (When obedience is pursued)

“And all the nations of the earth will be blessed by your offspring because you have obeyed my command.” Genesis 22:18 CSB

6 Practices for Peace

1.   (Choose J.O.Y.——Jesus/Others/You)

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind…You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22: 37-39 NKJV

2.   (Be Different)

But as the One who called you is holy, you also are to be holy in all your conduct; for it is written, “Be holy, because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16 CSB

3.   (Deny Self)

“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” Luke 9:23 NKJV

  • (Become a Servant)

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. Galatians 5:13 NIV

5.  (Embrace Difficulty)

…for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13 NASB

6.  (Be Obedient)

Samuel said, “Has the LORD as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the LORD?   Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams.” 1 Samuel 15:22 NASB
