Heaven. The idea and thought of it sounds so inviting. A place of no more tears, no more pain. A place of peace and being in the very presence of God our Father. Sounds almost too good to be true and yet the Bible assures us that it is indeed very true. Join us this weekend to discover 4 amazing aspects of heaven you may have never considered! Don’t Miss It!

Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things in the earth.  Col. 3:1-2 NASB

He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart…   Eccl. 3:11a NASB

“Then the king will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.’”  Matt. 25:34 NASB

Revelation 21:1-8

A Glimpse of Glory
4 Areas of Amazement

  1. (A New Creation)

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.  Rev. 21:1 NASB

“In My Father’s house are many dwelling places:  If it were not so, I would have told you: for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.”  John 14:2-3 NASB

2.   (A New Capital)

And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,…  Rev. 21:2-3 NASB

3.   (A New Culture)

…and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”   Rev. 21:4 NASB

4.  (A New Covenant)

And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.”  And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”  Then he said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”  Rev. 21:5-8 NASB

“Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels.  Matt. 25:41 NASB

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will dine with him, and he with me.”  Rev. 3:20 NASB
