Sometimes the path that God chooses for us doesn't always make sense. In fact, His ways are often unpredictable and unconventional. When we find ourselves being "Overwhelmed: by Uncertainty," there is one thing we can know for sure; God is always at work.
When the wicked Haman devised a plot against the Jewish people, Queen Esther found herself in a very difficult situation. She, too, was secretly a Jew and Haman's wicked scheme would eventually reveal her Jewish identity. She was forced with the decision to either walk away and remain silent or face the problem head-on. In "Overwhelmed: When Quitting Looks Appealing," Queen Esther learned that God can bring good out of the most difficult situations when we refuse to give up.
Do we compromise our convictions just to go along with the crowd or do we stand up for what we believe? Daniel purposed in his heart to follow his convictions and God took care of the rest.
